Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (BSMT)

The Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (BSMT) prepares students for careers as licensed deck officers aboard merchant vessels.
The program develops competencies in:
- Navigation and ship handling
- Cargo operations and stowage
- Maritime safety and emergency response
- Bridge resource management
- Maritime laws and regulations
Students are prepared for Officer of the Watch (OOW) licensure and future leadership roles in the maritime industry.
