COURSE DESCRIPTION

 

  • BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
    The Bachelor of Science in computer science includes the study of computing concepts and theories, algorithm foundation and new developments in computing. It also include the study of the standards and practices in software engineering. The students explore the conceptual underpinnings of Computer Science — its fundamental algorithms, programming languages, operating systems, and software engineering techniques. In addition, students choose from a rich set of electives that includes » data science, computer graphics, artificial intelligence, database systems, computer architecture, and computer networks, among other topics. As with the introductory sequence, these advanced courses stress "hands-on" learning by doing.

 

  • BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
    Bachelor of science in information technology programs includes the study of the utilization of both hardware and software technologies involving planning, installing, customizing, operating, managing and administering and maintaining information technology infrastructure that provides computing solution to address the needs of an organization. The Graduates of information technology background are able to perform technology tasks relating to the processing, storing, and communication of information between computers, mobile phones, and other electronic devices. Information technology as a field emphasizes the secure management of large amounts of variable information and its accessibility via a wide variety of systems both local and worldwide.

    Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management prepares students for leadership positions in restaurant operations, the tourism industry, event planning, hotel administration and other operational and administrative roles.
