Master in Business Management (MBM) provides avenues for developing managers / administrators from being fund administrators to managers of resources both funds and human resources. The program prepares young professionals to become leaders in their organizations / communities. A graduate student may enroll in a thesis or non – thesis program

The MBM as in other programs of SJIT Graduate School uses a set of curriculum approved by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)

The curriculum of MBM includes courses in marketing, production and operations management, economics, managerial accounting and control, financial management, research methods and statistics.

The whole program of MBM requires a total of 39 units: 9 units of core subjects, 18 units of major subjects, 6 units of cognates and 6 units thesis writing or 6 units Integrating Course (IC) for non - thesis program.

MBM candidates for graduation are required to pass a comprehensive examination and complete a thesis or an action research / feasibility study / project proposal for a non - thesis program. The candidates are required to defend and pass the oral defense of their thesis or action research / feasibility study / project proposal for non - thesis candidates.

MBM graduates are needed in both government and private agencies. They are needed in the finance department of local governments as well as in private business organizations as production and operations managers.

Graduates of MBM also become successful entrepreneurs as they have acquired knowledge, skills and values in the course / program. They also become professors in the academe and as program heads in related courses in the tertiary level.

A degree in Master in Business Management opens one's opportunity to occupy responsible positions in both government and private sectors. It also gives one the knowledge, skills and values to succeed in personal business endeavors.

Admission to MBM requires a bachelor's degree in a related field with suficiently high grades. A prospective graduate student takes an admission test (OLSAT G Level) and an interview by the dean before enrolment.
