The College of Education Arts and Sciences (CEAS) is the heart of the institute, Saint Joseph Institute of Technology (SJIT). It is the service college of the Institution.

It serves all five other colleges in the Institute through its Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Humanities and Language course offerings.

Manned by highly qualified faculty members, CEAS is the largest in terms of number of faculty and the most dynamic college in the Institution. Its faculty and students are very much inclined into arts and culture, vigorous in research and active community extension services.

CEAS offers Bachelor of Arts (AB) with majors in Mass Communications and English and Bachelor of Science in Psychology. The college also offers Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEED) and Bachelor in Secondary Education (BSED) with majors in English, Mathematics, and Filipino.

CEAS standards rank with the country's bests since Liberal Arts programs are accredited by Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities-Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) and the College entire quality system is Certified by TUV Rheinland.

Thus graduates of both AB and Education are now successfully employed in the Public and Private sectors. They serve with the zeal of commitment to service for God and man.

AB Mass Communication

The program introduces students to the interlinked entertainment, strategic communication, and journalism aspects of mass media, and to the broad theoretical, historical, and critical perspectives that mass communication scholars use to understand and analyze these media processes. read more»

The program, Bachelor of Arts major in English develops students to become competent and proficient in English both in written and oral communication necessary to meet the demands of global competitiveness and world class standards for the immediate gainful employment in the world or domestic market, or as a foundation for further training beyond the degree. read more»

BS Psychology

Students in this degree program examine the theories and history of the workings of the human mind by studying aspects of developmental, organizational and abnormal psychology. Graduates of this program are inclined toward professions that involve a high level of human interaction such as politics, law, counseling, human services, education, law enforcement, military service, and public management. read more»

BS Elementary Education

The BEEd program is structured to meet the need of professional teachers for elementary schools and special education programs in the Philippines. The BEEd aims to develop elementary school teachers who are either (a) generalist who can teach across different learning areas in grade school, (b) special education teachers, or (c) pre-school teachers. read more»

BS Mathematics

The program is designed to develop among students the skills in mathematics concentrated on the scientific application and development of understanding of the mathematical enterprise and including topics that illuminate and extend those taught in the secondary and tertiary school curriculum. read more»

The Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) program aims to develop high school teachers who can teach in one of the different learning areas in high school like Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, English, Filipino, among others.
