The Computer Engineering program combines key aspects of electrical engineering and computer science. Students learn the fundamentals of circuits, systems, and software associated with the design of programmable systems as used for general purpose computing, communications, control, or signal processing. Because of their broad skills in both hardware and software, students in computer engineering are in high demand for employment after graduation. Computer engineering students are also positioned to pursue graduate programs in either computer science or electrical engineering.

The curriculum for BSCPE covers a balance treatment of functional areas in Basic and Advance Mathematics, Engineering Sciences, and together with its allied courses from Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Admission Requirements for First Year

A student seeking admission to SJIT must be a graduate of any public or private secondary school recognized by the government. Applicant who seeks admission to any collegiate department should take the Admission Test and should present the following credentials:

  • Form 138
    • (Average grades in math, English, and Science Subject should not be less than 82%)
